Opal Group's Family Office & Private Wealth Management Forum West 2026 runs 21–23 October at the Napa Valley Marriott Resort & Spa in Napa, California — the organizer's annual West Coast gathering for what it calls the fastest-growing population of newly structured family offices in the world, in a region dominated by first- and second-generation Silicon Valley families. Private equity, venture capital and technology are the forum's familiar themes, alongside impact investing, alternatives, portfolio construction and the trustee–beneficiary relationship. This edition adds a first: Opal Group and Open Future Forum launched five inaugural family office leadership awards at the forum, and Opal confirmed Open Future Forum founder Murray Newlands as conference chair. Day one opened on 21 October with the Chairperson Welcome in the main session room; the organizer has also announced the day-by-day speaker groups for 21, 22 and 23 October on its own account.
